The dot to dot manicure is really simple to do, but looks like you have gone to a bit of effort to jazz up your normal nail colour.
You will need:
- A base coat
- 2x nail colours of your choice
- A dotting tool (or a kirby grip)
- A top coat
- An optional fast dry spray
First you need to apply your base coat, followed by two coats of your chosen nail colour. I decided on Rococo Nail Varnish in Lady Lavender as it is a lovely spring colour.
Once you have left your nails to dry a bit, take an old plastic lid or pot (I used the top of an old cotton buds tub) and dab a bit of your second nail colour onto it - I chose Rococo Glam Roc Molten Lava for a bit of shimmer. Then you just need to dip your dotting tool (or kirby grip) into the polish and place a dot on each nail just above the nail bed. Don't push too hard as your polish probably won't be completely dry and you will create a dent.
Finally, leave the dots to dry a bit and then apply your top coat and fast dry spray.
That's it, simple! Very little effort to add a bit of something extra to your nails.
