The Wanderer Returns - Australia Part 2

If you haven't read part 1 you can catch up here, but in a nutshell I decided to go travelling with a friend of mine to Australia, Bali and Cambodia for 2 months. Part 2 continues on from Brisbane…

Australia continued

After visiting Springbrook National Park we carried on driving to Brisbane where we were staying with a friend of mine. Again it was a bit of a flying visit, but we drove round the city centre in the evening which is beautiful as there are lots of coloured lights and artwork around. The next day we visited some long lost relatives on Emma's and then went a met a friend of mine for dinner who has recently moved to Brisbane.

Then it was time to keep moving towards Rainbow Beach, but we went via the Steve Irwin Zoo on the way. We picked a good day at Terri, Bindi and Robert were all there so we watched them do the croc show. I also got to hold this adorable little fella (or lady, I'm not sure). We carried on, stopping at Noosa as well which is a beautiful place where the rich and famous hang out, apparently. We ended up in Rainbow Beach ready for our trip to Fraser Island.

It's really hard to pick one photo from Fraser Island, but one of my favourite moments was watching the sunrise on the beach. Stunning. We had an amazing time with a really nice group of people and I would definitely recommend going if you are in the area.

That's it for part 2, but part 3 will include the Whitsunday Islands, my sky dive over Mission Beach, Cairns and Darwin which was our last stop in Australia.

Have a look at part 1 here, and keep an eye out for the next update.
