London Fashion Week: My Top 5 Looks

Last week I posted about my top five looks from New York Fashion Week, and this week it's London Fashion Week's turn. It seems to come and go so quickly each season, but there is so much preparation and hard work that goes into each show, and there is a great atmosphere around London.

Burberry

First up is one the most highly anticipated shows of the season, Burberry, who always seem to nail it. Make-Up artist Wendy Rowe used Burberry make up to create this gorgeous natural look which can be easily worn everyday. She used gold hues to match the collection, and wanted you to look at the girls and 'know they're wearing make up but not sure where'.

House of Holland

Next up is my absolute favourite show, House of Holland. Henry always comes up with such a cool collection, and the make-up, hair and nails are always trend setters as well. This season Lucia Pica created the look, which was colourful and fun to reflect the clothes. The look is very simple with glitter in the inner corners of the eyes. I also have to mention the nails which were created by Sophy Robson with Leighton Denny polishes, and were an amazing tortoiseshell pattern.

Holly Fulton

Onto a more dramatic look from Holly Fulton, who embraced the bold lip and eye. Now this look is obviously more suited to an evening affair, but the bold red lip with slightly darker lip line, combined with the heavy smoky eye is definitely a look that can be rocked for a night out.

Antonio Beradi

The bold lip was also continued at Antonio Beradi, but this time with very soft and simple eye make up to accompany it. This look is a much fresher take on the trend, and can definitely be worn day or night as the eyes lift the look and make it more girly, rather than sexy. The matching red nails are also a classic.

Sass & Bide

Finally, another natural look than can be worn everyday from Sass & Bide. The soft brown eyes and rosy cheeks add a bit of definition, but combined with the natural lip makes this look perfect for day time. Add a slick of colour to the lips to take this look into the evening.

So that's it, my top looks from London Fashion Week. I can't believe it's over for another season, but I can't wait to see these looks appearing off the catwalk.
